Whenever I’m recovering from stomach flu (norovirus etc) when I get to the point of tolerating food plain hamburgers are what I eat and it never bothers the tummy but gives me much needed energy.
Talk about energy. A slab of lightly cooked beef liver will make you quite frisky. However, it can take years to get used to the taste. Worth it, though. Do what you must — bacon, wine sauce — but do it.
I’ve had years, been eating it since babyhood. To me it’s as good as a steak. It’s calf liver that’s nasty.
