A federal grand jury on Wednesday indicted Democratic donor Ed Buck in the deaths of two black men who overdosed in his home in West Hollywood, according to The Associated Press
The indictment, issued Wednesday in U.S. District Court, charges Buck with distributing methamphetamine that led to the deaths of Gemmel Moore in 2017 and Timothy Dean in January. Buck is also charged with distributing the drug to three more men, one of whom also overdosed nonfatally.
Prosecutors claim Buck deliberately targeted young gay men in the West Hollywood area, taking advantage of homeless people and addicts in particular, and coerced them into allowing him to inject them with drugs, according to the AP.
Buck was arrested in September after local activists extensively criticized local authorities for failing to take action after the earlier deaths.

Maybe justice will be served?
It seemed odd to me, that two men died in his house under suspicious circumstances, yet until now, there was no legal action taken.
He “victimized” gay men. As if HE isn’t gay. Same myths about John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and the Orlando shooter.
He looks like he has AIDS.

It will be difficult to prove he deliberately killed anyone if they were injecting and taking drugs themselves.
It will be a light sentence.

Doesn’t have to be deliberate under federal statues. If they can prove you provided drugs to someone who overdosed, you are screwed. No less than 20 years [21 USC 841(b)(1)(A)]. Now, obviously the prosecutors need to bring that to light and offer proof...so he may end up pleading to something less, but he’s got some significant exposure at present.
