I think you may be missing the point: Conservatives ACT. Liberals whine, cry and complain no one is doing anything.

Their cleaning-up that homeless camp is a demonstration of Conservatism vs. Liberalism.

I agree, but for a different reason. Conservatives should NOT be going into these cesspools and relieving the voters of the consequences of their actions. It’s like aiding a heroin addict with “clean needles.”

A good percentage of them are veterans with serious issues with addiction\PTSD. As well as PEOPLE with opiate addictions in need of care. So a little compassion...

I get the PR angle, but LA voters need to wallow in filth, have a epidemic of medieval diseases, and maybe the ones who live will change their voting patterns.

Pressler is very effectively showing how little concern local politicians actually have for the underclass they claim to represent

It proves 'where there's a will there's a way'.

It highlights the fact a clean-up can be done but government officials continue to fail to act.

It should be an effective means to call-out and shame politicians but they have no shame.

It also raises the spirit of the community and makes them aware of what's possible; that they don't have to live with filth.

Helping one’s neighbors who are being overrun by this crud is not a waste of time. It shames the bums who don’t care about the mess they make, and restores hope in the victims of the bums... that not everyone is a dirtball... not even the person most accused of being one. That little bit of restored faith, even if the crud returns which it limely will, may energize another person or many persons to quit complaining and do something every day to make that day a little better than the one before.
