He shot three men and one woman. Perhaps some sort of romantic tangle?

No indication of motive... which means his name contains a lot of throaty sounds and the motive is clearly spelled out in a book written in the dark ages.

I think the story said he was a mass stabber not shooter. It shows that the English are on the right track, trying to take pointy dinner knives away fro their people. /s

How does this happen? Did they all just stand there as he stabbed them individually?

It's more important to maintain your delusions of superiority based upon your self-perceived ‘inclusive’, ‘progressive’, and ‘intellectual’ world view, than it is to be safe and preserve your families, culture, and heritage.

“How does this happen? Did they all just stand there as he stabbed them individually?”

I have asked myself this every time this sort of attack happens. Do they have some mandate to stand there and take it? Use some harsh language in some twisted socialistic view to disarm the knife wielding perp? Was the attacker some sort of ninja? Its mind boggling.

Exactly! I try to imagine the cops here in Alabama standing around while this is going on - it is inconceivable.

LOL.

Actually, it’s pretty sad. Paris is a beautiful city and the powerful are destroying it.

Stabbing is seriously deadly and quick. I knew an old feller, probably had some unsavory history, had served time I think, and he told me he would much rather be shot, than stabbed, if he had to make a choice.

There are many instances of mass stabbing/slashing that have almost unbelievable body counts. In China there have been several that have had 25+ victims. I think crowds, semi confined spaces and a determined/frantic attacker can simply do a horrific amount of damage to a lot of people very quickly. No guns does not mean low body count. There are plenty of tools available to get the job done. Look at Africa and machetes. It would be informative to see stars on machete wounding and deaths. The #s would likely be stunning and eliminate the argument that only guns are capable of killing / wounding large amounts of people.
