Agreed. I detest 99% of his politics but he is one of the very few lefties I grudgingly respect. Love him or hate him, what you see is what you get. He is that rarest of leftists.Which is to say he is and has always been fairly honest about what he stands for. And on very rare occasions I’ve even agreed with him. He is right about how corrupt Wall Street is and that our tax code is of the wealthy, for the wealthy and by the wealthy.

Yet he lives high on the hog through his wife's corruption and his deceptive pandering. At least Wall Street pimps are up front about who they are. For that, Wall Street pimps are MORE honest than your self-righteous panderer who deserves no ounce of respect at all (Hell, he can't even admit he is a democrat and uses that independent label to laugh at all the idiots that buy his tripe).

I love your post. I agree. He is wholly un-corrupt and un-corruptible and that is why the Dems hate him more than the Pubs. He honestly believes in socialism, despite all evidence to the contrary, but he is truly honest about it. I wish him well.
