A 10% reduction in force is easily accomplished and saves taxpayer money.

Now maybe all those good guys in the fbi rank and file will speak up.

Yeah, that was sarcasm.

From the article:

"As we are learning from the Ukraine leaks, someone with a security clearance and an ax to grind has been hiding in plain sight close to the president. He's not the only one. Unfortunately, with few true allies, Donald Trump is necessarily walking with blinders on. He needs all the help he can get. And his help is ready and waiting, just waiting to have the shackles removed.

Judicial Watch has just released the contents of former deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein's emails, including this bombshell that will be ignored by CNN.

"The boss and his staff do not know about our discussions" and "off the record" emails with major media outlets around the date of Mueller's appointment. Judicial Watch got those communications only after a lawsuit that followed the DOJ's failure to respond to a September 21, 2018 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Notice that there were no classified bits in the information released. Rather, the email revealed that Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein was violating DOJ policy.

In fact, he and Mueller cooked up the special prosecutor gig as a way to paralyze Donald Trump's administration."

__________

Interesting. Better hurry.

Early in the phone call the Ukrainian president said he wanted to drain the Kiev swamp.

I don’t think it is possible to remove all the bad critters.

Maybe baiting the vermin might work.

Great idea. I hope the President and/or someone close to him sees this then they have a conversation about getting it started.

You could build an artificial intelligence that builds a comprehensive profile on everyone and identifies anyone who seems to be too closely related to Deep State.

Then it could use large flying drones to eliminate those people.

Wait...

Captain American would oppose that so never mind.

Trump has never been serious about draining the swamp.

As of today, the Inspectors General of the State Department, the Department of Justice (includes FBI), the Intelligence Community, the CIA, and the Department of Defense, were appointed by Obama, or, were previously promoted by Obama in another job.

Until two months ago, the IG of Homeland Security (immigration) was appointed by Obama. And, since January 2017, almost every top job at Homeland Security has been held by an Obama or Bush holdover or someone who was previously promoted by Obama or Bush in another job.

Remember the “Scott Pruitt Scandal” at the EPA?

Pruitt's hostile IG was appointed by Obama - and every senior executive at EPA had a previous job relationship with Bush or Obama.

Pruitt was the most consequential Conservative in the Trump Administration - and Trump did not raise a finger to help him.

Bottom Line - if Conservatives do not hold Trump's feet to the political fire, who will?

Government employees are supposed to be politically neutral.

That is part of the bargain.

All these jobs are non-patronage jobs, so the employees are not supposed to be political.

If the government employees aren’t going to keep their side of the bargain, then throw them out.

They are just a bunch of liars and double-dealers then.

Short of a revolution much like thst in 18th century France complete with gallows on the Washington Mall, I see little hope of draining the swamp.

Draining the swamp means nothing if you leave all the rats alive. Pass a law that any member of government from top to bottom gets audited after he or she leaves. Every dollar over 10% of their initial salary whether it went to them or a charity that they formed gets taxed at 80% when they leave. Pay it now, or you get no pension after you leave office until it’s paid off. Also once you leave you are not permitted to work or open any type of business that has operations in Washington DC
