There is a *ick’s SG about 3 blocks up the street in my small town. I routinely drive 50 miles away to Huntsville to avoid doing business with *ick’s.
We walked through their store the other day just to see how the enemy operates. The store was empty for a Saturday afternoon.
As a consumer with broad interests, hunting and self defense are in the top 3 for us. While shopping for ammo we might have been interested in some exercise equipment or a GPS. But we won’t buy from Dicks since there are plenty of other, better, stores. Their loss.
Based on my observations that Saturday afternoon, I predict that Dicks will go out of business like many of the other sporting goods places that Dicks replaced. Good riddance.
