That's simplistic. IMO, the "implacable crazy enemies" would still hate us because 1) we support Israel (which we should) and 2) we are "infidels".
Look at all the millions of these crazies that have overrun Europe and they weren't nearly as involved as we have been. They're killing people all over Europe for the sake of their phony prophet and phony god.

I have found that remote brown Christians don’t count and are not worthy so they are in turn expendable.

Not sure I agree with “false premise” but I’m not going to argue with him. I’m a lot more sympathetic to the possibility now that it’s clear what liars our intelligence agencies are.
This would seem to put the left in an interesting quandary, BTW. The left loves the intel agencies now that they’re persecuting Trump, but here’s Trump impugning their credibility using the left’s own “false premises” angle. An interesting twist.
Which brings up another thought, which is that this is timed perfectly to set the stage for the Barr/Durham/Horowitz discoveries. A big public argument over Syria and Iraq and ME interventionism in general will remind people of how our intel agencies lied and/or blew it on WMDs. A finding that these same agencies illegally spied on a political enemy and defrauded the FISA court will fit right into that pattern. All the big pieces are fitting together in a way that reinforces a number of Trump’s positions and themes.
Damn right Mr President.....but that eight trillion bucks has lined a lot of DC pockets at the expense of the middle class and poor families that get to do the bleeding.

I see this too, and not just here. Like yourself I chased down the true motivation behind war and found it had nothing to do with “defending our country” and we are all being played. I started asking “why” when I was still a child and lost my older foster brother in Vietnam. I have since rooted out the real instigators and “why”. And make no mistake, their propaganda and deceit is strong, devious, and heartless. It is very hard for the weak minded and trusting to see through. I found that Eisenhower was exactly right on the money and now we see it in full fruition.
