PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. - Prince George’s County Council is replacing Columbus Day with Native American Day beginning in 2020.
The council noted that Oct. 14, 2019 will be the county’s final official Columbus Day.
The bill arrives on the heels of a similar measure passed by the D.C. Council, which voted Tuesday to rename the day traditionally reserved for Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples Day.

It’s funny about the District of Columbia eliminating Columbus Day, as the District is named for Columbus.

Thankfully I was able to eliminate Prince George’s County, MD over 25 years ago never to return ever.
I’ve heard that Prince George’s County has a lot of bad neighborhoods.
Naturally. Now rename the District of Columbia to District of Indigenous Peoples.
Well, they could do Thanksgiving that day as they do in my country, lol.

Not to worry. They’ll try to out-PC each other until they get to the point where there’s nothing’s left to protest or ban. Then they’ll have a contest to see which single-issue group can commit suicide in the most Earth-friendly way. Vegans and vegetarians can argue over who will compost more organically.
Soon every ethnicity will have their own national holiday.Liberals only ban, rename or protest. They don’t create solutions to real problems.
But of course all their useless government workers will still get the day off.

My husband and I used to play "PG County or not PG County" with the local news. There would be a teaser for some sort of crime and we would say "PG County!" or "Not PG County" and then wait for the news story. 99% of the time we were correct. Occasionally some other county would surprise us.

Certainly we should salute warring tribes who invented nothing as opposed to Europeans who may have used harsh tactics but created the greatest country in history. But remember, these people hate what was created and long for the days of nothing......except for themselves.
