Polands ruling conservative party has targeted gays as a campaign tactic. Its programming on state media has drawn comparisons with communist-era propaganda and it has asserted so much control over the judicial system that the European Union has declared the rule of law at risk.

The EU is trying to do the same to Poland. Only time will tell whether they succeed. My money says they will succeed.

“Concerns about democracy”
The so-called Liberals call any groups they democratically lose elections to as “illiberal”.
The judicial changes the EU is complaining about is the current Polish government has been getting rid of the Polich communists in the court system that merely changed their label to “socialist” and by that mere appearance were accepted by the previous governments of Poland. The conservatives were never fooled by the subterfuge and when they won their landslide election they started to do something about it.
