I hope the Republicans in the legislature there use the opportunity to change the state constitution.
That is, they can put it on the ballot.
Oh God, no. Amendments to our state constitution are made in every every state-wide election. Every. Single. One. And written in such a convoluted manner (a feature, not a bug by our rapscallion legislature) that, i.e., what you think is a no vote, is actually a yes, & vise versa.
Now if you are talking revising the constitution to a foundational document, rather than a convoluted legislative one, I’m right there with you.
