California's Gov. Gavin Newsom signs law to put illegals on state boards

Talk about disenfranchisement. In California, seems it's not enough that foreign nationals who've just spilled over the U.S. border from the south can get free education, free health care, free housing, and all that — now it looks as though locals may just find themselves lorded over by foreign nationals with zero loyalty to the United States making policy, now that Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed SB225, a bill to allow illegals to "serve" (and be paid) on state boards that make policy in California. If your interests conflict with theirs, too bad about yours:

According to the San Francisco Chronicle:

SACRAMENTO — Undocumented immigrants [sic] and other non-citizens will be allowed to serve on state boards and commissions after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a package of bills Saturday intended to integrate immigrants further into society.

SB225 by Sen. Maria Elena Durazo, D-Los Angeles, expands eligibility for state appointments to any California resident over the age of 18.

In a signing message, Newsom said applicants deserved to be considered on their merits, rather than their immigration status.

"Building a more representative government requires an assessment of barriers that prevent talented and qualified Californians from consideration for public service," he said. "California doesn't succeed in spite of our diversity — our state succeeds because of it."

I understand there is a petition circulating to recall Newsom.

I hope it gets done very soon, before he manages to totally destroy CA.

Exactly. These criminals have no bounds because they have never been prosecuted.

Gaven is a groomed and planted asset of America’s enemies. We’re getting a lot of those. Had one for president for a couple of terms.

California is now a communists liberal rotten craphole and is no longer part of the Constitutional Republic of America. What is done will never be reversed, you can be sure.

If they are being paid, how are tax withholding being handled?

Are they required to have stolen Social Security numbers, or exempted from paying some taxes?

Now you don’t even get to vote for Pedro.

Nor, more’s the pity, can I legally sign the petition to recall Newsom. RATS!

Well, not my direct problem any more. In a way, it’s more of a honeypot, er, make that cesspool, attracting the flies, rats, and criminals away from where I live now.

The problem is that I have many conservative friends and family still anchored to that cesspool by ties to businesses and investments. I am trying to get them to see it is time to sever those bindings.

There should be roadblocks and passport control at all roads and ports of entry into/out of California.

We noticed as we were escaping California on our way to Utah, that they were building huge multi-lane port of entry inspection stations on the highways. They are doing that to intercept any firearms and ammunition that might be being brought into California from out of state. . . As if it IS going to become a foreign country border with customs inspection. They asked us when we went back into California in July after buying our new house. . . “Did you buy any ammunition that you are bringing back into California?”

I am so confused? Why would Newsome want to put illegals on skate boards? /scratch head

All the better to allow illegals to skate around Federal immigration laws.

Bad Da bump

Treat California the way we treated South Carolina in 1861.

Isn’t it next door to impossible to get appointed to these anyway? You pretty much have to be buddies with the governor (mayor for city boards)?
I applied for a city level board a long time ago. I think the announcement was just for show. They already knew who they were going to pick.
