I agree. There was many ISIS prisoners. Many of them were from several European countries. Others were from Iraq. I don’t know about the rest. However, there was a call out to these nations to pick up their prisoners. The European nations would not take them. Iraq would not take them. Everyone who weaseled out of taking their prisoners share the blame for the Turks being unable to contain them when the bombs started to drop. I am sure US troops would not have been able to protect them and themselves as they moved them out in the crisis. Every one of those countries has egg on their faces now we know the results of their weasel ways.
Depends on what faction of Kurds they are talking about.
You do know that the PKK Kurds are communist? And that they have been fighting the Turks for decades?
I would say let them kill each other off and support the other free Kurdish factions.

The Syrian army and Russians won’t take that many ISIS prisoners. They’ll just shoot them right after recapturing them.
Really? Thanks for that educational post. I have not followed what has been done with the prisoners as much as I ought to. I was NOT aware that the countries involved refused to take the prisoners back. This is a no-win situation for us. What do they expect the U.S. to do? Stay over there guarding them for years/decades? We cannot do that. I’m hoping Trump figured that Turkey and the Kurds would end up killing them in the crossfire chaos.
Now there’s a real solution.
Their fault for not disposing of them properly. Maybe Assad knows how to.
