Sure they do - when they get in the way of ‘the objective’. Two examples:
(1) Senator Al Franken. They threw him overboard based on a silly picture long before he was even in the Senate. Why? Because that gave them the moral authority to go after Roy Moore and flip the Alabama Senate seat. Brilliant move, I have to admit.
(2) Eric Schneiderman. They dumped him IMMEDIATELY once the word came out as to what he was doing...they knew, probably for years, but they kept quiet until it was in the open...then OUT, and fast!
But yes, they will keep people around as long as they’re useful...Bill Clinton being the best of many examples.
In this case, you have to look not at us, but at people like my parents, who are CONVINCED that CNN is unbiased. If the Veritas recordings show what I think they show, we’ve got them (people like my parents) COLD...no way to rebut. But get rid of Zuckerman, then their claim to objectivity will hold, at least for millions of people like my parents.
We shall see what happens. What Trump has done is made it IMPOSSIBLE for the media to ignore the recordings...so this will get fun, and it cannot end well for CNN.
