Because I am pretty sure Trump has shown from previous meetings held there that he is 1) not gouging the govt, actually saving the govt money, and 2) that there is nothing illegal about it as he divested, or put in trust, all his holdings.

They just recently pulled that crap when some air force flight crews stayed in Scotland or Ireland and he saved the air force about $100 bucks per person per night compared to out in town to put them up at his golf course there.

Your not going to sway any voters, Trump supporters or Trump haters, over this.

Except that 1) Trump has not held meetings there so we have no idea what costs are as opposed to what will be billed, and 2) Trump has not divested himself of his holdings and has not put anything in trust. I agree that there is probably nothing illegal about holding it at the Doral. But the Democratic campaign commercials will write themselves.

How much would it have cost to have them land and stay at one of the several Air Force bases in the U.K?

Certainly not Trump supporters or Trump haters. Supporters are going to support and haters are going to hate no matter where the summit is held. But what about those not currently in either camp?
