Am I a prude? Never heard of the term throuple.
What does that word even mean? I’ve literally never heard or seen it before.
Normal people would call it a threesome.
Mott the Throuple?

I will be 81 shortly and read a lot of everything and never hear of a throuple before. My wife reads 5-7 books a week, and she never heard of it before.

I remember a 60’s Rock Band called Mott the Throuple, or something like that. #:^)
I read the article and still don’t understand. Is a married female representative having lesbian sex with her staffer? Is the husband also having sex with them? Who took the nude picture?

A colloquial term used in Gomorrah ...
Neither have I...

Certain groups like to coin new words with the intention of ensconcing certain behaviors into our and the global culture. Ah no!
I have a 1996 Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary that has 2214 small print pages of words and their definitions. Another words, it’s quite extensive. Some words that are spit out for not being spelled right online, are in this book. Not all that infrequently I use a word that spits out non-valid, and then I find it in this book.
Throuple is not there.
This word has more to do with the LGBT XYZ crowd and their friends from kinkydom (my new word to cover what ceaspool this one crawled out of), than anything else.
