What’s their latest body count?

I’ve only seen one elderly guy reported so far.
*********************************
Whatever it is, it’s substantially less than the body count caused by “power line triggered” fires in the past when they did NOT take this precaution.

No sympathy, they voted for it.

Or charge your Tesla. The Democrat party is not selling the electric car idea so well.

We need to get to these neighborhoods and register people to vote.

True that. Remove the fire fuel.

My concern is that people will get use to frequent power outages and that is one step closer to rationing power as a solution to global warming. It will train (coerce?) people to use less power, too.

It is all part of the plan to make people accept third world conditions in the United States. People will get used to it. And while power is not being provided, power plant CO2 emissions will drop, which will be a good thing to “reduce global warming.”

We’re paying four bucks plus per gasoline here in California right now.

Some of the usual suspect gas stations are probably charging five bucks plus, granted that’s not the usual best price stations.

Yep, the suckers among my fellow Californians believed the governor when he promised the new gas taxes would be used to repair and provide new roads.

Last week he admitted it will go to rail projects.

Next week he could ask voters to raise gas taxes again, and you know what, they would vote for it.

The Republicans don’t even voice any opposition.

Yep. That's true. And it's why I don't honestly blame Californians in total. There is no voice to Conservatism at the state level.

The populace votes for the things the smooth talking demoncRats propose, because no state level person stands up and says, "That's B.S., and here's why."

We're cast adrift.

We could retake California. Nobody seems to want to work for it, even in state.

No sense of fiscal responsibility. However, the voters are allowing it to happen so it is on them. Sorry that you are caught up in it.

California ‘legislators’ have perfected a time machine.

It’s set for 1850 and is performing nicely.

PG & E need to turn off power in the one hundred highest income zip codes in the state.

_Then_ the problem will get fixed.

Many of our local city council are Leftist driven.

Our state has no visible vocal Republican leadership.

The demoncRats come up with their hair-brained ideas, nobody comes on the tube to explain why they are bad ideas.

So the programs get approved by the voters.

Look, yes Californians vote the wrong way. Do you realize since 1996, no Republican Presidential Candidate has toured the state, to espouse Conservative ideals. We've only had one fiscally responsible candidate on our side since then, and that was in 2002 or so. That guy got no party support for his run for the Gubernatorial slot. No big party names came here to support him. He rode around in a bus across the state. His budget was something like $2 million.

Meanwhile demoncRat Gray Davis' budget was something like $12 million. He flew around the state in corporate jets. The Democrats brought big national figures out to endorse. The local media covered Davis very well, hardly mentioned he was opposed. His opponent didn't have the money to buy spots and get his agenda in front of the public.

How can you blame the state's voters under those circumstances.

If the best car ever came out, it could fly, you could go across the nation as a family in 45 minutes, it would run on battery power, the solar panels in the roof would recharge the car in ten minutes. How many would you sell if the public didn't know it existed, or if they did it was besmirched as an Edsel knock-off?

That's the story of California.

re: “What’s their latest body count?”

WHY don’t you call it: “The judge’s body count”?

Judge’s order strives to reduce the number of fires caused by PG&E
By Adam Brinklow Jan 10, 2019, 11:09am PST

“PG&E may not take into account the inconvenience to customers or its revenues and profits” over safety, says federal judge

re: “This leadership is the absolute worst I’ve ever seen. Almost all the state leaders belong in a straight jacket. They seem certifiable.”

You’re not about to blame the judge responsible for this either, are you?
