Yes, I’m perfectly fine with taking judges to task.
It was state leadership screwing with forest upkeep and the ancillary things that made it possible for those wires to start fires, and the unkempt forest to burn worse due to bad management.
All these people need to be taken to task.
PG&E should have filed Chapter 7!
The problem in the past was while the eco-fruits went on campaign to limit harvesting the forest products industry sat on their hands OR actually assisted the eco-fruits in their agenda.
Now why in the hell would they do that? Because Weyerhaeuser, G-P and the rest, knew that the public forests were actually competitors and that if harvesting was limited on those lands, the value of their forest resources would increase.
It was funny hearing while living in California Limbaugh describe the state mandatory installation of roof solar panels which are not used for home use but feed into the power grid. Explain he was unaware that the home owner does have the option of converting the system for home use.
When done dose it supply enough electric ?
Yup.
Shut everything down, gather up all the infrastructure (wires in particular), and sell it all as scrap.
I heard that. On an earlier show he said that his first house in CA had solar panels. It wasn’t until a couple years later that he discovered they weren’t connected to anything.
yesterday we had gusts up to 65 mph most of the day along the Colorado Front Range, and yet no power was deliberately shutoff ...

I don’t think either you or he understand “grid-tie” systems, how they work over the course of a day ...
Insanity: Doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results .... California voters?
URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

2nd event being mentioned about 6 days away
THERE IS
STILL THE POTENTIAL FOR A STRONGER, MORE WIDESPREAD OFFSHORE WIND
EVENT LATE IN THE WEEKEND, BUT CONFIDENCE IS LOW AS THE TRAJECTORY
OF THE TROUGH WILL LARGELY CONTROL THE STRENGTH AND TIMING OF THE
OFFSHORE WINDS. STAY TUNED TO THE LATEST UPDATES AS THE FORECAST
CONTINUES TO BE REFINED.
I guess this could be the live fire thread ,,it is going to be a long week
LA NWS
SHORT TERM (TDY-THU)
21/205 PM.
THIS COULD BE ONE OF OUR MOST CRITICAL WEEKS OF THE FALL SEASON
FOR FIRE WEATHER DUE TO VERY WARM TEMPERATURES AND BOUTS OF SANTA
ANA WINDS.
HROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, ELEVATED TO BRIEF CRITICAL FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST WITH VERY WARM AND DRY AIR AND
FUELS. TUESDAY WILL BE THE CLOSEST TO CRITICAL OVER LOS ANGELES
AND VENTURA COUNTIES, WHEN PEAK GUSTS BETWEEN 20 AND 40 MPH ARE
EXPECTED. EXPECTING SOME AREAS (LIKE THE SANTA CLARITA AND EASTERN
VENTURA VALLEYS/FOOTHILLS) TO SEE 2 TO 4 HOURS OF CRITICAL ON
TUESDAY.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY, A SANTA ANA WIND EVENT WILL LIKELY
BRING WIDESPREAD CRITICAL CONDITIONS TO LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA
COUNTIES, AND ELEVATED TO BRIEF CRITICAL CONDITIONS FOR SANTA
BARBARA AND SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTIES. A FIRE WEATHER WATCH WILL BE
ISSUED, INDICATING THE POTENTIAL FOR A RED FLAG WARNING. THERE IS
STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY IN THE STRENGTH OF THE WINDS, BUT PEAK
GUSTS BETWEEN 40 AND 60 MPH IS THE MOST LIKELY OUTCOME. HUMIDITIES
WILL LIKELY LOWER TO 2 TO 9 PERCENT.
THE FUELS AND VEGETATION ARE CRITICALLY DRY. THE EXPECTED WEATHER
WILL CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT RIPE FOR LARGE AND DANGEROUS FIRE
GROWTH. WE URGE EVERYONE TO BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS WITH ANY
POTENTIAL FIRE IGNITION SOURCES. FIRES HAVE STARTED FROM THINGS
LIKE CIGARETTES, CAMP FIRES, WELDING AND BRUSH CLEARING
EQUIPMENT, AND DRAGGING TOWING CHAINS.
#PalisadesFire was threatening homes and causing some evacuations but it looks like they tamed it ....it was mostly a terrain driven fire not much wind
A relative in Napa Valley, who had to evacuate for 2 years in a row because the smoke got too bad, had her power shut off for 3 days said, “well thank goodness they shut the power off because we didn’t have any fires”. Everyone up there seems to support it because it’s for “the greater good.”
The news this morning said this will continue to be the solution for the next 10 years!!!!
Face Palm....
The old story is a mugging changes a lib to a conservative.
*****
Actually, that was originally a neo-conservative.
A “leftist” (communist) that got mugged by reality.
Therefore the neo = new in neo-conservative. And the totalitarian tendencies in neo-con policies and wants and the neo-con love of globalism “the internationale” just with a slightly different economic model.
Okay then. Glad I don’t live there.
small fire mostly out now...on a small hill,,but 1 home burnt
A brush fire moved into a residential neighborhood after breaking out near Little Mountain Basin in San Bernardino Monday afternoon, officials said.
At least one home and several yards along Edgerton Drive had gone up in flames, aerial video from Sky5 showed just after 6 p.m. A portion of a second home appeared to be charred by flames that had been extinguished.

PG&E: 1.2 million customers in fire weather watch

Each time the blackouts hit, the screws tighten on that vile POS Gavin Newsom.
Wouldnt it be fun if momentum kept building for a recall election? Wheeee!!!
