DOD records obtained by Judicial Watch contain the first official documentation that the Obama administration knew that weapons were being shipped from the Port of Benghazi to rebel troops in Syria.
The heavily redacted documents do not disclose who was shipping the weapons. Another DIA report, written in August 2012 (the same time period the U.S. was monitoring weapons flows from Libya to Syria), said that the opposition in Syria was driven by al Qaeda and other extremist Muslim groups: “the Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria.” The growing sectarian direction of the war was predicted to have dire consequences for Iraq, which included the “grave danger” of the rise of ISIS.
“These documents also point to connection between the collapse in Libya and the ISIS war – and confirm that the U.S. knew remarkable details about the transfer of arms from Benghazi to Syrian jihadists.”

Was he facilitating or did he find out about it, report it to Hillary thinking she needed to know. Only to find out too late that his meddling in a deal bringing in mucho dinaros to the Clinton Foundation from supporters of Al Qaeda would get him killed.

I will never forget Hillary’s answer when Rand Paul asked her about weapons going to Syria from Libya in a hearing years ago. The minute she answered his question with a question, everyone knew she was lying.. She said, “TO SYRIA? You’d have to ask the people at the annex about that.”
Some of us knew what happened back then. In one case there was no interest shown, or follow-up given to, the very high-ranking Turkish diplomat who was filling a low-level consular agent’s post in Benghazi and who was an important link in the logistics of US-gathered arms shipments to Turkish ports. It was known that there were CIA agents (and apparently contractors) operating out of Benghazi in the movement of arms from Benghazi through Turkey. In addition, there was no interest shown in the arrival and departure of unmarked CIA planes carrying Petraeus and which appeared at Ankara. Etc., etc., etc.
U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens’ job (?) to handle the local details : sent weapons of mass destruction from Benghazi to moderate head chopping al-Qaeda jihadists…
