Romney: Mulvaney’s Presser ‘of Real Concern’ – Holding Funding for Political Purposes
Breitbart ^ | 10/21/2019 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 10/22/2019 6:13:13 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

While speaking to reporters on Monday, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) stated that acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney admitted that the Trump administration held up funding to Ukraine partially due to a desire to have Ukraine carry out an investigation regarding the 2016 election and holding up funds “to fulfill a political purpose is a real problem.”

Romney said, “Obviously, what he said in the press conference was of real concern. Because he said, in effect, that they were holding up funding going to Ukraine, in part based upon a desire to have Ukraine carry out an investigation with regards to the 2016 election. And holding up funds to a foreign nation, particularly one that’s under military threat, in order to fulfill a political purpose is a real problem.”

I learned long ago to be leery of people who voice generalized “concerns.”

There is all this interest in President Trump asking Ukraine to investigate Biden’s corruption. It’s almost odd how no one has any interest in the underlying corruption that President Trump was asking about. Almost. This involves President Trump, so the one-sided curiosity is completely predictable and not at all odd.

This parallels the money that Team Hillary spent paying Russian and other foreign assets to produce fake accusations against Trump in the hope that they would gain an advantage in the election . . . with the fake accusations claiming that Trump was using Russian and other foreign assets to gain an advantage in the election.

What a fraud. For over a century foreign aid was tied to our national interests and Piere knows it. He’s not “Deeply Concerned” that a committee chairmen read a fabricated transcript at congressional hearing of course.

C’mon people. It is the media that decides what interview to publicize. Romney is just staying relevant by speaking to the media agenda. We need to raise hell at the media and rid them of their powers for they are no longer doing their job.

Thanks for giving the media a desired headline to help get President Trump’s poll numbers down.

Judas types are always best for disguising an attack. The slow folks hardly ever catch on, and headline readers will jump to the collusion that since it is a Republican saying it, it must be bad/true/legit/etc., and that Trump really needs to be impeached.

How much silver was it worth Peter?

1. How is an investigation by a U.S. president into an election he WON a "political purpose?"

2. Didn't @ssholes like Mitt Romney and his fellow Democrats spend more than two years sanctimoniously preaching to us about how critical it was to investigate the 2016 election?

Romney sucks so hard I have to say “we were better off with Obama than this traitorous POS.”.

True. Who would have thought we'd be saying that we were better off with Obama in 2012? Mitt Romney = Democrat mole.

Dear Mitt King of the Morons

The GOP is breaking small donor fund raising records off Impeachment. Let that sink in before you blow anymore idiotic smoke.

Mike Murphy, is a bitter clown loser. He is the same moron that spent $114 million to get Jeb 3% of the vote. You should fire him today for gross incompetence. Let me tell you truth. Contrary to the idiocy being spun to you by Murphy, you are NEVER going to be President. You are NEVER going to replace Trump as head of the GOP.

You bitter ignorant Never Trumpers, better wake up. You cannot get rid of Trump and survive as a political party. Any move against Trump will trigger a hurricane against the GOP-E that makes what happened to the GOP after Nixon look like a minor rain shower.

You are yesterday’s fools. US Voters have all ready consigned you losers to the trash heap of history.

“He would have been a one term loser and would have set us back 20 years.”

I agree. I voted for the reprobate in 2012, but reluctantly; because I thought the alternative was worse.

Wrong. Every President attaches criteria to add. Congress attaches criteria to ad. Odd how the Never Trumper clown show and the Democrat Fascists ignore THIS critical fact.

The Ukrainians NEVER KNEW the aid was held up!

Amazing how this rabid lie keeps being repeated by the DC Scum machine.
