Graham to introduce resolution condemning House impeachment inquiry

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is planning to introduce a resolution condemning the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry process, and argued that any articles should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial.

"This resolution puts the Senate on record condemning the House. ...Here's the point of the resolution: Any impeachment vote based on this process, to me, is illegitimate, is unconstitutional, and should be dismissed in the Senate without a trial," Graham told Fox News's Sean Hannity.

I'd like to see Graham open a senate judiciary hearing, drag deep state actors in under oath and get them to either plea the 5th or give testimony.

Coral them, squeeze these people into turning evidence against one another.

If Senator Graham simply holds PUBLIC hearings of the same “witnesses” that Comrade Schiff has “interviewed” in SECRET, then Senator Graham will do an important service for all of us patriotic Americans.

These hearings will also expose whatever “dirty tricks” Comrade Schiff hopes to be able to play through his dishonest “selective leaking”.

I wouldn’t call this nothing. If it actually passes it would seem pretty ridiculous for any GOP Senators to cross over and support an impeachment you just condemned. My money is on the resolution not even getting a vote.

OK, but I think McConnell is eager beaver to proceed with impeachment and has made no statement that it is illegal, unconstitutional etc.

We’ll see.

McConnell knows that he has the votes to end the impeachment debacle in favor of the President

This is just another uneventful gesture as it only takes one vote from a Senator to kill it which will occur.

Then McConnell made sure to assign the impeachment inquiry to Senate Intel Committee where Burr and Warner are running the show and will ensure there will be a circus of nothing investigation.
