Isn't any agreement between countries or even businesses quid pro quo? I mean, no one gives anyone money or goods with no expectation of getting something in return. Your business would fail if you give away your products for free, and you'd be pretty unhappy if you went to a grocery store, handed over money, and didn't get any produce in exchange.
And as far as ....Do me a favor....It's such a common everyday phrase...hardly rises to the rank of "MUST"....
Mom....do me a favor...pick up the kids....
Honey...do me a favor....bring home a gallon of milk....
In the meantime, Nancy is working on the quid pro quo for USMCA.
