Democrats Are Embarrassed By Schiff’s Impeachment Tactics, And They Should Be
thefederalist ^ | 10/24/2019 | Adam Mill

Criticisms of Rep. Adam Schiff’s impeachment tactics have begun to bite. Fair-minded people have begun to ask why is it necessary to have secret witnesses, secret hearings, and leaks of distorted, out-of-context excerpts from transcripts,

Why is it necessary to block the president from sending representatives to attend these hearings so he can have equal access to any evidence? Why was it necessary for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Schiff to “parody” the transcript of the president’s call to the Ukrainian president? Aren’t parodies supposed to be funny? Shouldn’t the chairman be proceeding with sober deliberation and fairness instead of romping about with gleeful shtick?

As long as the media plays along and pretends that these are real impeachment proceedings, Democrats will have a reason to continue their mockery of the system.

Anonynmous sources say some DEMs are embarrassed. You know, the entire article may be premised on Gabbard’s public remarks on the subject.

Republicans in congress should take Shift’s illegal activities to the US Supreme Court. Shift is excluding Republicans, holding illegal meetings in secret, claiming illegal demands for information and documents are lawful subpoenas, and more. The US Attorney General should be prosecuting Shift, Pelosi, and others for these illegal acts.

They wouldn’t be democrats if they were capable of being embarrassed.

Achiff is afraid that the Ukraine call hoax will be embarrassing to him and to Nancy. So, he’s got to keep the hearing secret in order to avoid having the republicans on the committee from asking embarrassing questions which will leave Schiff humiliated and with the huge possibility of being removed from the committee chairmanship and perhaps from congress altogether.

Most of what’s happening now is Schiff being on the defensive. There is nothing there, and Schiff and Nancy know it.

Too numerous to hold that type of discussion on FR.

Do you think there have been no laws broken?

Democrats are incapable of being embarrassed about anything.

More to the point: SC wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole,
Citing the “political question” doctrine. I think that’s why they’re not using real subpoenas, just letters demanding appearance, to lock in the unlikelihood of judicial intervention

Are the REPUBLICANS in these secret faux “impechment inquiry” meetings embarrassed?

Paging Rep Chris Stewart, Rep-UT.

Which other Republicans have been invited to participate in the lynching?

Regarding the secret testimony, any evidence gathered and used in the impeachment proceedings can be contested in court with the result that the whole shiff secret process is of no value in the impeachment effort

No, Rep. Chris Stewart, Rep-UT is in on them.

Which other Republicans?

Imagine if D’rats put as much effort into representing their constituents as they’re putting into this coup.

Imagine...

One Republican who has been able to attend the proceedings, Rep. Chris Stewart of Utah, acknowledged that the closed-door nature of the impeachment proceedings are consistent with the House’s procedures.
