California Is Burning and It's Not Because of 'Climate Change'

Liberals are blaming California's wildfires on "climate change." Apparently, climate change now causes wildfires, but only in the state of California. Before this week, liberals thought rising sea levels would wash the state away. Now, they believe it will go up in flames unless we do something immediately to stop "climate change." But climate change hasn't turned California into a tinderbox, the environmentalists have.

California power company PG&E is preparing to pull the plug on 850,000 of its customers. PG&E has been deliberately cutting power to its customers in an effort to avoid wildfires. It isn't working. Massive wildfires erupted in areas where PG&E provides service. The Tick Fire has burned down several homes and caused the evacuation of more than 40,000 people so far, and other wildfires are burning throughout the state. In Sonoma County, the Kincade Fire has already torched 34 square miles and destroyed 49 homes. That fire was likely caused by a broken transmission line belonging to PG&E.

Pfffttttt! We all know if it had rained/snowed and the wind had come down to acceptable levels as required by law in Kali, none of this would have happened. Thus, more and stricter weather laws must be put on the books. Greta is NOT amused. HOW DARE THEY?!

I’m thinking in terms of good, old-fashioned, Old Testament chastisements.

Yes, misguided enviro-wackos bear some of the blame, but I’ve always suspected there’s some arson going on too. The authorities and the media don’t report it — or their suspicions — for fear of exciting copycats. And wasn’t there at least one radical imam who encouraged jihadists living in the West to start fires?

In some areas there are restrictions on removing trees and brush on your own property. It is truly nuts.

One issue is that more and more people seem to be moving into areas where the wildfires are part of the natural life cycle there. Much of these areas were probably that great deal less inhabited in a year like 1980, let alone 1970 or 1960 due to the ever increasing population growth and urban sprawl in Los Angeles and elsewhere in that state.

California is bed ridden of communists fools and there is no hope for the State. An example is soon the price of gasoline will reach 6.00 a gallon. Will it ever change, never! Too far gone and is still spiraling down with the damn Democrats in charge.

Well, at least they keep promising to make it all better. No, really. Just send more money.

The fires near LA were enabled by the two wet winters in a row. The fires up north, by the same and by closure of wood fired generating stations that fed from fallen National Forest trees.

What PG&E needs are enviro friendly power stuff so they don’t go all flaming on their own.

Very true comment. Wildfires are part of the ecology of southern CA. Many trees will only sprout when there are wildfires. These trees and surrounding vegetation help prevent soil erosion. Come February there is real chance many of these properties will start falling down the hillside.

There will be NO killing and taking of dead trees. Or something.

California is burning because of it’s leadership and their neglect of sustaining their countries utilities as well serious neglect of their lands.

No, it's a matter of an absence of common sense in that dump.

I visited gold country in Auburn. The guide was telling me he had an unwanted scrub oak in his yard. He wanted to cut it down. He had to notify the authorities first.

They sent out an arborist who made a determination concerning the environmental impact. The arborist gave the go ahead so the next step was to post a sign with a phone number if anybody objected to the removal of the tree.

He said if nobody objected he could cut it down.

Those people are so stupid they are beyond redemption. It's like trying to civilize a room full of chimpanzees.

"No"???

You know the mind of God?

(note: I've previously posted that PG&E should send the bill to the Sierra Club)

Trump spoke to this issue some months ago. BLM land in California constitutes if I remember correctly about 26% of all of the property in the state. The US Government (all of us) pays them billions of dollars to manage them on the Governments behalf, and let us say that he was not impressed by the way they have followed through. The Enviro Wackos have denied the ability to even maintain the corridors where the high tension (mega watt) lines transverse the forests and other lands as well as refuse to clear all of the dead trees that provide great fuel for fires to become firestorms.

If I remember correctly there are well over a 129 million dead fallen trees that they are refusing to clear. Add to this they have cut off all of the logging roads that allowed for access to do so as a butterfly may be too scared to fly if people are there.

Madness

Couple all of this with the other poorly founded and just plain insane regulations they put in and in reflection of land management quality funds need to be pulled.

Almost forgot, Trump also spoke about water management and inquired why the water was being shunted down the San Joaquin river to support the “snail Darter” which was said to be a food fish for other species which is a lie. It is part of the UN Agenda 21 that states any river navigable to the ocean can come under their control and some idiots in Washington signed us on to it. So if they dump water down it versus sending it to the farmers they get what they want, as well as deprave the lands used for growing so they can buy it cheap and then profit from it.

They all need to go, and I mean somewhere else and take their madness with them

NOW!
