Vindman tried to change the WH call transcript.

NYT reports that Vindman, who likely leaked secret information to the anti-Trump whistleblower, tried and failed to alter WH call records to fit his Ukraine narrative.

I believe that is correct. They want to draw a line in the sand - only so much corruption they want to get out into the public domain. When this is over, Trump should unleash the DOJ on all public corruption.

In a way Trump has already laid the groundwork for this type of campaign. With the passing of Elijah Cummings, his targeting of Baltimore may or may not work so well. But that’s the type of thing he can campaign on. “There is plenty of money, it’s just being stolen”.

.... a former Bush DOJ official no less, told Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle” that he found it “astounding” that Ukranian-born Vindman, a US govt employee, would be advising Ukrainian officials against Pres Trump’s interests.....

It’s becoming clearer why Trump was compelled to take the steps he did. The Bidens could have been in on this, as well. What we have here are some very serious claims against US government insiders that could involve elected officials, as well.

Keep in mind...falsifying official documents is the preferred criminal method to cover-up larger crimes. Passing copies of false documents as authentic can also involve forgery and other instances of serious criminality. Falsifying official documents is usually done in connection with broader criminal aims.
