He received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.”
Amazing. We are now at a place where his backround in Law isn’t enough. NOW they want to know how he’s going to decide individual cases.
General George Washington wept as he said farewell to his officers at Fraunces Tavern in New York in December 1783. He wept even more profusely when he resigned his commission in Annapolis a few weeks later. Those tears were not merely sentimental. There was a lot of private anguish in themanguish that had to do with Washingtons troubled relationship with his officers, their bitter quarrel with Congress, and the scarifying unpopularity that had engulfed the Continental Army in the months after they disbanded in July 1783.
Would Jesus and Washington have wept when (falsely) accused by a bunch of whining sodomite acivists?
Should not be confirmed. He had a Boener-esque reaction to confrontation by queers. It tells me that he'll go the extra mile to mollify them.

I would have laughed and asked them if they are ok with me treating the alphabet deviants the way they treat straight, white males.
I have seen tough men in combat weep, even cry - I have seen tough men in a tough heavy metal industrial workplace weep, I have seen farmers who spend their days under a hot relentless sun cry. I am an octogenarian and have seen more of life than most any this FR site - Weeping, crying is not a sign of weakness.
What the hell are you talking about??
So true.
A good judge would rule in favor of the baker in a gay wedding cake tort.
How would this thin-skinned candidate rule, under criticism from gay activists? If he's that sensitive to critics, I wouldn't vote to confirm. My concern is that he'll mollify his critics.
Yes they sure are.
I think you're misinterpreting the situation.
He's not weeping because some gays said mean things about him. He's weeping because one of the most respected organizations in his field is repeating partisan slanders against him after he spent a career building a reputation of fairness and excellence for himself.
I think it would jar anyone's resolve to be the target of a political opposition that is willing to say and do anything to win, including destroying the reputation of good people with unprovable slanders and libels just to get their way.

The ABA; he should know better.
ABA is just like the other ABCs within our pitiful and sorry govt (C_A, D_J, F_I, S_S, D_I, and on) of our nation that now lies in ruins since the hand of the anti-Christ has befallen us here on earth (nobama)!
BTTT.
Always on my list of must stops, when in NYC....to offer a toast to Washington.
It's disheartening to witness one's life's work being trashed by the most influential body in one's career, knowing that it's not about him and that he's being used as a proxy for attacking Trump.

I will be as fair to the alphabet community as you are to President Trump.
don’t you wish MORE peeps had the ####$ to say that?
Thank you! Some people on this thread need to be set straight!
The key is to not buy-in to the premise of the question asked by the attackers. Reject it outright, then say what YOU want to say. This what almost all politicians do.
Which will NEVER be reciprocated, once the shoe is on the other foot.
Ive been enraged before...tears come when whats said is especially offensive in oorder to refrain from swearinng and attacking the person theyre coming from.....
...Exactly. Tears of rage. All of these armchair warriors who becry the display of this good mans emotions while under vicious assault by the Left, should be ashamed of themselves. Nothing wrong with showing true emotion, it serves to confirm ones humanity.
He had a Boener-esque reaction to confrontation by queers. It tells me that he’ll go the extra mile to mollify them.
...Your comparison is flawed, in that Boehner was, and is an alcoholic, unprincipled, unscrupulous, opportunistic, weak/kneed politician with no backbone.
