That’d be nice, but somehow I doubt it. Still, I hope you’re right.

They could at least do some ‘low tech’ maintenance like clearing trees and brush away from the lines.

Newsom and Harris and Brown and the liberal media, will probably claim that it’s not in their jurisdiction to intervene in the private enterprise system. Hypocritically.

They want government intervention only when it suits them politically. The California fires ain’t their problem, neither is the crumbling electric power system. So they’ll say.

Actually, you may be right, noble dog. I’ve a hunch that most sane Americans are realizing or have known for a long time that California’s hippie forest policies (”Let it grow ... man ... “) are at fault for the rash of fires.

That freaking state needs to do something liberals cannot by their very nature do ... admit the hippies were SERIOUSLY wrong and get companies in to log those forests posthaste.

If they do, next year’s “fire season” might not be a season at all, but they will need to have had to admit the BS they’ve been promulgating since the late ‘60s is an absolute crock.

And, oh, how they hate admitting that.

Remember children, this is the real reason for forest fires. And please share this message with your mommy and daddy, too.

It seems some of the trees would have burned in a forest fire, doesn't it?

I doubt it.

Newsom will blame climate change and the liberal herd will blame Trump for pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord.

Facts mean nothing to liberal Democrats. They only believe 'narratives'.

The leftists will never lose their grip on California. There will just be a mass exodus of hardworking people, jobs and businesses. The remaining loons and illegal immigrants will continue to vote the leftists into office. California will spiral into a Venezuela like failed socialist state with empty shelves, blackouts and third world conditions in the cities.

The problem with liberalism is that eventually, people just don’t care or are too stupid to know how stupid their government is. It’s quite shocking.

Remember after the ‘hurricane of the century’ wiped out New Orleans and a wag commented that God had a sense of humor, building a city below sea level and filling it with Liberals?

Today R Limbaugh was musing over how the people of California have had these electric cars shoved down their throat and now are having some ‘trouble’ charging them during all the blackouts...

I do feel for the people of CA, especially the ones that don’t vote for these LIBs but it is hard to have any real compassion for those that keep voting the same old trash back in office...

Doesn’t everybody remember the power blackouts of the 70’s.

Me neither.

That place is toast. So sad.

California is a beautiful place.

IMO, when the ‘dust’ settles the power company must repair/replace old equipment and a mandatory forest management plan must be enforced.
