That is just foolishness

The Senate has no dog in the fight. There is no point in bitching and whining which is all the Senate could do. That is all the House is really doing.

The Senate knows that the Trump Administration has control and will destroy the Coup in totality when it so desires.

You are in effect declaring the President to be stupid.

Sunshine pump all you want but Don Jr. tweeting “whereslindsay” and POTUS saying “Republicans needs to fight back” says it all. The GOP Senate is AWOL against this historic coup and Team Trump is not happy about it.

We want Democrats on the actual record voting to impeach so we can target those in purple districts. We want the trial in the Senate to bring out evidence of the coup plotters.

How is this wrong?

It’s wrong because blue state GOP Senators like Collins and Gardner are also going to be “on the record.” Pelosi & Schumer will happily trade a couple House districts for control of the Senate. With the GOP House retirements already piling up it is almost certain the Dems will retain the House.

Enough Republicans will side[vote] with the Democrats to convict him. The Republicans hate him as bad if not worse that the Democrats. The Republicans want him out of Office as bad if not worse than the Democrats. There is a reason that the Senate Republicans are remaining silent.

Louis Gomhert is one of the good guys - and he’s expressing justifiable outrage over these kangaroo court show trials. The guards ARE armed.

What the hell is your problem?

The House’s role is over IF they actually vote to impeach. So they never will.

Instead, they’ll drag out hearings and say it’s up to the American people to decide in November

Otherwise, they open the door for real hearings and real investigations.

FYI.

The House’s Role
The House brings impeachment charges against federal officials as part of its oversight and investigatory responsibilities. Individual Members of the House can introduce impeachment resolutions like ordinary bills, or the House could initiate proceedings by passing a resolution authorizing an inquiry. The Committee on the Judiciary ordinarily has jurisdiction over impeachments, but special committees investigated charges before the Judiciary Committee was created in 1813. The committee then chooses whether to pursue articles of impeachment against the accused official and report them to the full House. If the articles are adopted (by simple majority vote), the House appoints Members by resolution to manage the ensuing Senate trial on its behalf. These managers act as prosecutors in the Senate and are usually members of the Judiciary Committee. The number of managers has varied across impeachment trials but has traditionally been an odd number. The partisan composition of managers has also varied depending on the nature of the impeachment, but the managers, by definition, always support the House’s impeachment action.

And then, oh, we hear from this resolution today, we’re going to send you the depositions after we get through doctoring and looking at and editing the transcripts, we’ll send you those, so you have the evidence you need. That’s not the kind of evidence that a coup should be based on.

I can't help compare and contrast this donkey circus with the demands by Schiff and Co. The Mueller report wasn't complete/accurate/good enough, they had to talk to everyone anyway.

There was also a report seeing a truck/van go through the gate late that night, it not being locked to everyone, and the “evidence” of who was in that van..

If they do that, there will be no point in voting at the ballot box in 2020.

I very seriously that the Democrats will turn it over to the Senate until after the 2020 election. The Democrats are evil, not stupid. They know and understand that as of today, that they have two, actually three, ways of removing him from Office. Impeachment and vote fraud. These have two chances of being successful; slim and none. But they have to be tried.

It is my opinion, and it is worth nothing, if not less.I believe that they will try vote fraud via the election first. If that fails, depending on the election results, impeachment. If the Democrats lose the house, the impeachment is dead. If the Democrats lose control of the House and they lose control of the impeachment process.
