6 years is really less than 3 (Oregon is 6-for-30 or basically 1 day for 5 good days served, and can shave off 10-for-30 with 'work', educational and reformbarf goals met).

One of the few things I like about the French is their prison system: Behave yourself for one day, and that time counts as time served. None of this "time off for good behavior" crap.

But keep in mind, even if he is out in 2 years, that's very possibly 2 years of being someone's bitch.
