New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo didn't mince words when he learned Thursday that President Donald Trump had filed paperwork to change his permanent residence from New York City to Palm Beach, Florida.
"Good riddance. It's not like Mr. Trump paid taxes here anyway," Cuomo said in statement. "He's all yours, Florida...”

If so, he must have paid taxes. Rush said when he left the Dems said something similar.
Comparing NY to FL. Lower taxes, can play golf and nice weather 365. Don’t see the downside.

IMHO, President Trump should use Governor Cuomo’s nasty email as a “Get-Out-Of-New-York-FREE” card.
When New York’s tax harpies try to claim that President Trump STILL owes taxes in New York because those tax collectors “claim” that Trump has not “proved” that he “really” left New York to THEM, then Trump should “flip” them Cuomo’s email.
Talked a couple of days ago to someone who grew up in upstate New York, and who went back a short time ago after many years and was shocked by the poverty and drugs. “It’s a waste land, I don’t even recognize it.”
That tends to be the way governments everywhere work.

I totally get his moving out of NY. It’s a mess but I do wonder about this affecting his getting the electoral votes he will need at election time from NY.
