I like what Bannon is saying, but Bannon is almost entirely "inside baseball". If you follow this stuff SUPER closely, if you basically agree with everything TRUMP is doing, then you listen to Bannon and you nod your head and say "He makes sense".

But everybody else is bewildered, thinking, "What did he say?"

Bannon presumes that the audience is already in sync with him. It is not so. His job is to GET the audience is sync with him. This is not his strength. What he accomplishes is to get true believers (like me) nodding and saying, "Yeah! I've been saying that for months!" But nothing changes.

A fair comment.

But I’m in MA and when I talk to people, I assume they know almost nothing and that they need to be convinced. Small steps. Little bites.

Preaching to the choir doesn’t help. I enjoy Bannon, but I’m in the choir.
