Ha! Here’s How Much Beto Spent On His Campaign Before Pathetically Dropping Out

At the end of this week, former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke (D) formally announced he was dropping out of the Democratic primary race after pledging to take all our guns and punish churches for not condoning gay marriage.

According to campaign finance records, O’Rourke spent 14 million on his campaign, with clearly nothing to show for it!

Campaign finance reports issued on September 30 showed that O’Rourke spent $13,965,478, according to Open Secrets.

While final numbers for his campaign have yet to be released, he likely surpassed $14 million in money spent int he 30 days following his last report, Breitbart notes.

Beto kicked off his campaign with quite a lot of attention and raised $6.1 million in the first 24 hours, but this early success faded as other candidates came forward and proved to be more popular.

“Though it is difficult to accept, it is clear to me now that this campaign does not have the means to move forward successfully,” O’Rourke announced on Friday night in the official announcement that his campaign was ended.

President Trump couldn’t help but poke fun at O’Rourke’s announcement during a campaign rally on Friday.

“Oh did you hear? Beto, ah, that poor bastard, poor pathetic guy,” Trump said. “He was pathetic.”

“He quit like a dog,” Trump said. “When he quit, I said, ‘See? People think this is easy, it’s not so easy.’”

“He said that he was born for it right?” Trump asked, referring to Beto’s early interview with Vanity Fair. “He was born from heaven and came down and, in that case, some really, really bad things happened, because he made a fool out himself.”

“Remember the arms flailing?” he continued. “He was standing on tables, he was standing on countertops, I said, ‘Does [he] never like stand on the floor and speak? … What the hell is he doing? What is he on?’”

Trump said that O’Rourke had been “nasty” during the campaign, pointing to O’Rourke’s enthusiastic opposition to the Second Amendment, Christianity, and oil production.

“You come from Texas, you don’t like religion, you don’t like oil, and you don’t have guns, I don’t know, that’s not a good combination in the state of Texas … I don’t know if that’s good anywhere,” he said as the crowd cheered.

His father-in-law should put his estate into a trust fund or his son-in-law will quickly blow through his billion dollar inheritance.

I’d like to know how much unused campaign cash he took home with him as a fabulous parting gift.

He should use the opportunity to check into a mental health facility. Might could use drug rehab, too.

It is quite interesting that the two largest recipients of cash from the “donor community” were Irish Bob and Kamala, and they both went over like lead balloons.

Mayor Pete looks like he will sop up most of that cash now, but, obviously, he’s not going to be the nominee polling at 1-2% among African Americans.

These facts shine a bright light on how divergent the interests of the “donor community” are from the interests of Americans.

That $14m could have been used to help the homeless and minorities, or fight climate change.

I don’t understand the Dems’ priorities.

What’s hard to understand about ‘lining ones own pockets’ & POWER\control?

The elites would rather waste money on insane ego trips than help the poor—same as it ever was....

Yes, he is so stupid that he thought he could..

Beto was the empty suit that the dems decided to push as the second coming to get a state wide win in TX in the 2018 cycle.

I don’t blame the DNC and their allies in the media for making the play. Cruz had angered a good segment of his base with some of his antics in the 2016 primary cycle... and they had 2 years of Trump hate they had instigated and flamed to work with. That was probably the best opportunity the Dems had to make a play for a big statewide win in TX.. an off year election with a damaged incumbent with support issues in his base, and a democrat base fired up to 11. Only an open seat in an off year, or a special election make for a better chance for the non incumbent party to get a win.

They made the decree that they would make this play, and the whores in the media happily helped and pushed this empty suit as the second coming. Tons of national cash flooded in as they told their donor base, we are going to get a win in TX...

The problem was, Robert is so damned STUPID that he didn’t realize that he was LITERALLY an empty suit, a prop, a mannequin. The person in the suit LITERALLY could have been anyone and the 2018 TX senate race would have played out about the same.

He actually bought into his own manufactured press, and decided to go for the white house, because he is absolute too stupid to recognize the truth of the situation. He really thought there was some real demand for him... The fact he even got into the race showed he is far far too stupid to EVER be president.

He failed to recognize his 15 minutes of fame was over, and once in the race, he rapidly became DESPERATE for attention and kept going loopier and loopier trying to get some... in the end, he went down like the pathetic dog he is.

NO different from Wendy Adams attempt at the 2014 TX governors race.. She got her 15 minutes with her silly tennis shoe speech, that got the national leftists fawning over her, and convincing her she could have a real shot at the Governorship, even though she was just some back bencher nobody. And in the end didn’t even get 40% of the vote... Loser than ANY democrat facing an open seat governors race in TX in the my lifetime. Only difference was she was limited in only overplaying her hand into a state race, not a national one.

As the saying goes: “A Fool and his money are soon parted”.

The upside is that this is $14 Million bucks that will NOT be involved in the race.

Nice job, Irish Bob.
