I’m starting to think the big Dem donors will be sitting this election out. They just don’t have a contender.

I think Jeb Bush holds the record for spending a metric sh!t ton of money on a campaign for literally zero return.

His mama had tax fraud problems with the family’s furniture store.

How many of those donation millions went into his wallet.

I think most candidates do not expect to achieve nomination, much less POTUS.
For most it’s a job: set up & lead a 2-3 year project, generate a revenue stream of a few million dollars, allocate salaries comfortably, make a short-term living of narcissistic self-indulgence, be popular, make connections, fold up the project when spending exceeds revenue, pay off contractural debts (including to self), route remaining funds to next project, and make a good side buck via books & lectures.

Doesn’t have to be a huge win, just a decent living in a profession where gigs last about 1-3 years then on to the next.

And given who they’re up against, seems none actually _want_ the nomination lest they get crushed. Make a good buck, win friends & influence people, then get out well before yer left holding the hopes of the Democrat Party with no chance of success.

Yup.
People keep wondering if Hillary will jump in. She might, but the big money won’t: will cost $1.5B to beat Trump, and she already blew that in a can’t-lose race against the same guy; ain’t gonna do that again in a can’t-win race.
Likewise remaining contenders: none are strong vs Trump, so better to hold the deep pockets closed and pick away at the Senate, preserve the House, and stockpile for 2024.

Partner, Beeeeeeetooooowwwwww is a loser now and forever.

We hope his wife signed a pre-nup before they got married.

THere has been a lot of talk, since the 2018 election, that Texas might be slowing turning towards the Democrats.

Does Beto's disastrous presidential run put that talk to rest? Didn't he basically reveal that the Democrats are the party against religion, oil, and guns?

Moronic and immature liberal politicians with their dumb ideas will come and go but the Bill of Rights will always continue to stand. Adios Frito.

When you give money to a Democrat it immediately loses its value.

Beat-oh is a piker compared to Yeb Please Clap Bush.

Yeb dropped out after blowing $150,000,000 and winning exactly 3 delegates. LMAO!

That 14,000,000.00 went to Washington consultants, Washington media groups, Washington democrats, Washington personalities and Washington advertising executives.

See anything suspicious here?

Apparently not. LMAO

Before we start condemning Mexican Bob's cubic Stupid, how much did he get as campaign contributions, and since he is allowed to keep everything over what he spent,

X - $14,000,000 = What?

“with clearly nothing to show for it!”

totally untrue; Beto has plenty to show for it: he’s made himself 100% unelectable to any possible elective office ...

besides, that 14 million was other people’s money anyway ...
