OUTSTANDING. I suspect he was already welcome in most Chief’s Messes, but this fixes an injustice. His ONLY conviction was “wrongfully posing for an unofficial picture with a human casualty”, which might warrant a verbal reprimand or even a Letter of Instruction. But it doesn’t even come close to justifying stripping a Chief of his Anchors, and imprisoning him for 8 months.
Now it’s time for RADM Green to get over his personal obsession with Chief Gallagher, abandon his plan to strip him of his Trident, and allow him to move on. Green has much bigger problems than Gallagher.
