Are these 2 examples actually XY female and XX male, or an XY who appears female, and an XX who appears male?
They have all the physical characteristics and abilities.
I just post because its not as simple as XX and XY. The genetic basis of sex is going to get more confusing over the next century as genetic testing gets cheaper, more accurate and more common.
However, its still NO reason to allow men in the ladies’ room.
There are genuine transgenders out there: Kleinfelders (sp?) syndrome (XXY, XXYY, XXXYY, etc.), Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (effeminate XY folks; the full-blown variant essentially produces women with a Y chromosome), XYY males, who some believe have a higher tendency toward criminality, XX males (in which one of the X chromosomes has a gene sequence normally found on the Y), etc.
The current transgender fad makes a mockery of these people.
