It could be worse. Beshear is the only statewide Democrat.

Why don't you ask some local KY Freepers? The only one whose name I remember offhand is cuban leaf.

They'll likely have the skinny on Bevin's negatives.

That’s good news though.

I don’t think any of these races reflect on Trump no matter how much the media salivates over it. Trump is his own candidate and the people voting for him have a unique standard of cost-benefit analysis when they pull the lever for him. Those people are not swayed by anything. Those who are voting against Trump are 100% ideologues who also cannot be swayed. None of these smaller elections matter to the presidential election.

As of right now Bevins is behind 30,000 votes with 51% reporting.

Of course that is correct, but Bevin was the focal point for the hatred and not so much those other candidates. It can be said that he brought it on himself for being an outspoken conservative and Christian (thus alienating the anti-Christ wing of the Democrat party), but the point is that hatred is a great motivator — and even though that and lies are all the Democrats have, it works.

I think Bevin is toast. Just not enough votes in the state to make up for an 85k lead in Louisville.

See my post 94. He had the state buy an interest in a new factory. It’s leftist nonsense, even if practiced by someone clearly conservative on social issues.

Didn’t help in WV and MT Senate races either in 2018

He’s behind by that much with 88% in. I don’t see him pulling it out - not enough vote out.

The race to watch now is Secretary of State.

That could happen in LA on Nov. 16 too when an 80,000 D lead comes out of Orleans Parish.

Bevin’s negatives sunk him. It wasn’t an anti-GOP vote or a Blue Wave.

It was an anti-Bevin vote. Period.

26,000 votes behind with 86% of votes in.

Many of the late counties are pro-Bevin, but they just don’t have enough votes..

I’m calling it.. for Beshear

Exactly. The brain dead crowd were voting against Bevin and not for Beshear. That empty suit ought to be a one-termer, but that's small consolation.

Crooked Breshear is pro-pot. And heavily connected in the corruption network. Bevin tried to clean up failing Jefferson County schools and made the teachers mad. Trying to fix the bankrupting retirement system too. But that wasn’t enough to sink him. There is NO WAY all the other Republicans won and he lost. Something isn’t right here. I know several who voted for the first time EVER today. And they voted for Bevin.

Sad but the good news is GOP gained the AG’s office controlled by Democrats since 1948.
