Yup. I don’t buy that simply Bevin was unpopular. That would have dragged the down ballots too.
It is strange that in NC in 2016, the GOP Gov. lost when the State went to Trump and the GOP Senator won.
I’m not form KY so I don’t understand all the issues at hand, but I would imagine him being unpopular wold make it harder, but not quite this close as all the other races were win by a wide margin. We shall see.
Was there some massive screwup during the governor’s term like the Flint water debacle in Michigan? Or some big scandal?
