While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) reacted to calls to reveal the whistleblower’s identity by stating that whistleblowers, especially those speaking about government action, “should be allowed to remain confidential.”
Romney said, “My own view is that whistleblowers, particularly those that are blowing whistles on action within the government, should be allowed to remain confidential.”

The term idiot is, in the case of Senor Delecto, an understatement howling for elaboration. The now notorious Senor Delecto is a line bred Jack Mormon with a double digit IQ at least 15 points lower than his father's, a stone dumb RINO also afflicted with delusions of becoming President. Well a “Whistle blower” told me the reason Romeny doesn’t want any of this to come out is he is up to his neck in the Ukrainian corruption and is worried about being exposed
First of all it is questionable whether this person is actually a whistleblower since they changed the definition to include hearsay.
Secondly, there should be an examination of how actual whistleblowers have been treated to establish best practices since so many have their lives ruined for trying to hold power to account.
The record of the Obama administration on this issue was not a good one. We can do better, but part of doing better is rooting out corrupt practices, like changing rules to protect political hacks.
Why is it that the commie DNC weasels are able to keep their rabble under control? They are all afraid because they know exactly what happened to Seth Rich.
Depends on the case. If a whistle blower reveals corrupt accounting on a defense contract, for example, then anonymity is acceptable.
But in the case of a hearsay document that could spell the end of a presidency,the witness should be out in the light of day being cross examined.
