U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) announced a new bill on Wednesday, the Family Friendly Schools Act, to make school days longer by a total of three hours.
The presidential candidate wants to start the school day by at least 8 a.m. and end it at 6 p.m. in order to, among other things, align with working parents’ schedules more sufficiently.

Camel-toe submits this bill a time when her own state of California is enforcing government directed power outages in large parts of the state. Her bill should also include funding to buy candles for those public schools so the kids don't just sit there in the dark.

Schools are a STATE function. What doesn’t she understand????
Tell the senator that schools are local jurisdiction and all the federal guvmint does is screw them up even more than the socialist education teacher schools and unions are doing.

and just who will pay these teachers/staff? as it is in West Virginia they go on strike every year demanding more money and our kids are failing. Nope this won’t ever pass.

More time to indoctrinate the children in the evils of capitalism and the wonders of communism.
Now for the real meaning:
We want the kids more thoroughly indoctrinated by the Government. We want to control there minds for a longer period of time.
If anyone can slow down the rotation of the earth, it would be Caramela.
1) Get more indoctrinating in per day.
2) Funnel more of OUR money to Dem money-laundering NEA members.
3) Make kids think the goobermint is their parent and their mom is the au pair....and
4) Pander to dem voters by dispensing "free" daycare
8AM to 6PM is a 10 hour day.
This means twice as many teachers for the same number of students, which means twice as many teacher’s union dues paying members.
Follow the money folks...
Through the same threat of cutting off federal subsidies--aka EXTORTION--that has been used over and over on highway issues.

EVERYTHING is a Federal function. States are just a level, positioned to pass down your master's orders...
School’s are inefficient task masters.
That would add two or more hours a day for school and save millions for school district from spending money on buses, drivers, monitors, and gas, etc.
