"Bloomberg could spend $500m on the primary, and maybe $5b on a presidential campaign. I have zero doubt he could simply pledge his ownership stake in Bloomberg LP as collateral. Would it really be such a big deal if he left his daughter $40b instead of $50b?"

Absurd. He could spend every nickle and he's not getting the nom.

Jeb Bush spent $53M for each of his 3 delegates. That scales directly to Doomberg.

It's a kamikaze run to take out Biden, period. Drive up his negatives in the Super Tuesday states so he can't run the table before April.

It won't work. Even FReepers sometimes have no real idea how much pure political strength an 8-yr VP commands in any primary. But Biden's ace in the hole is his death grip on the Amish; no matter what Tuck Chodd's feverish brow dreams up about Aunt Georgamina. GropinJoe takes SC by 5 and everything beforehand is forgotten, then he goes into Super Tuesday and takes ALL but Kalifornia.

Then it's merely a matter of which Leftist defects for a 3rd-Party run.

Democrats politically destroyed.

Game over.

Trump re-elected.

Jeb Bush is, relative to Bloomberg, a dunce who slid into political office on the strength of his family name and the in-built political organization that afforded him, and lost anyway. Bloomberg is a sharp guy who figured out how to win in a city that was tired of his Republican predecessor and had this habit of giving 2/3 of its vote to Democrats. $250m did help him win 3 terms, but $150m did not help Meg Whitman win even one term. It’s not just money, but smarts. And smarts is something Bloomberg has in excess.

Show me an 8-yr VP who was primaried, they didn't always win the general, but THEY ARE NEVER PRIMARIED. Even freaking Ford put away Reagan in 1976 (which worked out for the absolute best).

THIS IS ALL FOR SHOW so the Donkeycrat handlers can run all that stupid money through their fingertips.

The Democrat candidate will be Biden - ________ .

It was Karamela's for the taking, but she wasn't a smart pol just a crude ratchet.

Warren is running for VP, and she just might get it by default, unless Buttgag runs 1 or 2 all the way through Super Tuesday.

There won't be any contested ballot in Milwaukee, it's all just bullshit CLICKBAIT.

So the real question here is, since Trump's re-election is a foregone conclusion, what can we commit Trump to NOW to punish the coup plotters? How can we fracture the Deep State?

We start with a Church Commission II; we punish every CIA reprobate with prison or Exile, the rest must swear a Loyalty Oath in front of the President; we dismantle the FBI and instead expand the Federal Marshal force within Homeland Security, and disperse them far and wide away from DC; finally, the Depts of Energy, Eduction, HUD, Interior, and AG are sublimated (eliminated) into Homeland Security, and again, those jobs are dispersed to the far corners of our beautiful country.

Our country would emerge far stronger, fitter, and with a 7-2 SCOTUS, Constitutionally prepared to take on the headwinds of the next 100 years.

Our grandparents saved this country once, now it's our turn.

Dang, I nailed this whole scenario in November.

"Bloomberg could spend $500m on the primary, and maybe $5b on a presidential campaign. I have zero doubt he could simply pledge his ownership stake in Bloomberg LP as collateral. Would it really be such a big deal if he left his daughter $40b instead of $50b?"
