Elections do have consequences. While the Republicans have no Interest in protecting and preserving the Republic, the Democrats are bound and determined to destroy it. But that is neither here nor there. What is important is that the voters of Virginia went to the polls and via their votes spoke on who they wanted to rule over them. Knowing full well what the Democrat Party stands for, they said, via their votes, said that they wished to be ruled by the Democrats. Hopefully they will get their wish.
Thats what is most dangerous about Democrats. You only need to elect them once, and they immediately set out using the full force of government to do one and only one thing - entrench the power of the Party. Just like any third world thugocracy.
Elections do have consequences.

Yup, sure do. Northern Virginia is now part of the Maryland/DC state should secede and form the new state of South Virginia. Or, petition West Virginia to accept its annexation. Maybe Northern Virginia could be annexed by Maryland.
It will be interesting to see how Hampton Rhodes reacts. N.VA, and Richmond are too far gone.
