“Will they give Eric Ciaramella a booster seat?”

Along with a cup of hot chocolate and a onesie.

If Schiffty refuses isn’t that obstruction?

Only if Schiffty was 'republican'.

If Schiffty has had communication with anyone involved isn’t that collusion?

Same answer. And the use of 'if' in your questions is superfluous as both 'crimes' have already occurred.

Yep. LOL at that list. Nunes is throwing the kitchen sink at the coupist Democrats. I can’t see a way Schiff agrees to let any of them testify in public.

I’d say it’s going to be hard for them to proceed with anything remotely resembling a legitimate inquiry while blocking Hunter Biden’s testimony. He’s certainly a relevant witness if he’s named in the Ukraine phone call that’s supposed to be the basis of this whole charade, and when he decided to do that stupid interview on national television he pretty much gave up any claim to confidentiality and privacy.

What sort of favors did Ukraine receive from the Soetoro administration?

Not much. Ukraine begged him for defesive weapons. He gave them nothing. Just some cash as a bribe to get them to agree to the Minsk agreement.

True. But Jordan & co will make him deny and pound him for it during the hearing, exposing his criminal activity with Ciaramella and his “lawyers.”

At the top of Republicans’ witness list is Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, who has emerged
as a central figure in the Ukraine controversy due to his big buck business dealings...

Man, seeing Hunter testify before Republicans....... that would be Your Show of Shows.....not to be missed.

Hunter thought he had disposed of all the nagging questions via an earlier TV interview.

How wrong he was......he came across like the self-indulgent, self-serving son
of political privilege who has never heard a discouraging word in his whole life.

Too frickin' bad......b/c Joe Biden's people worked overtime to turn Hunter into a "victim."

Hunter's TV appearance jet-propelled Joe's numbers to the bottom of the pack.

Bad news for Joe Biden that Hunter may resurface before a Congressional Committee.

Better, have the Ukrainian prosecutor Biden had fired to be a witness to what happened to him after Biden’s billion dollar extortion.

Also INVITE (you don’t demand or subpoena a head of state) Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskiy!

And Hunter and Joe Biden are now thinking,
“EPSTEIN DIDN’T KILL HIMSELF”.

If you think you will be surprised the when the Bidens commit suicide, imagine how surprised they'll be!

And not only in criminal prosecutions, as some nit-pickers will allege. The SCOTUS has repeatedly said that these due-process rights also apply between the branches of govt.

We finally have a handful of congressmen who fight effectively and with a plan. I wonder where they learned that?

They can’t to my knowledge deny the request.

The impeachment inquiry resolution the House passed EXPLICITLY gives Schiff the final say on what evidence and which witnesses can be called and what questions they may be asked.

That vote only gives the MSM the ability to assert that the process be viewed as fair...

One of the problems I have with this ‘quid pro quo’ thing is that it is being misused. It essentially translates into ‘tit for tat’. Everything done in US and INTERNATIONAL POLITICS is QUID PRO QUO.

The criminal element in QUID PRO QUO is when it is used solely for personal benefit.

After we nuked Japan several times, the Emperor and the Japanese Military SURRENDERED to the US. There were many ‘stipulations’ made that the Japanese had to adhere to for the US to accept their surrender and quit nuking Japan.

Was that QUID PRO QUO ?

YES.

Was it done that way to ensure that President Truman’s son or daughter got tons of money from Japan?

NO.

EVEN IF President Donald Trump had held up the money to UKR based on the condition that UKR investigate the corruption that the newly elected President of UKR had promised to investigate, it doesn’t involve any illegal act or promise or benefit.

I can’t see a way Schiff agrees to let any of them testify in public.

He will force them to sign NDAs. NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENTS which will prohibit them from discussing anything they know. If they won't sign them, they won't be allowed to testify.
