President Trump and The First Lady Participate in a Wreath Laying and Deliver Remarks at the New York City Veterans Day Parade
Don't be surprised if they try to pull some BS like this on him.
In 1993 the Veterans parade needed money to keep going. President Trump gave them a bunch of money.
This
I suppose the New York AG will open an investigation on Trump for this
Side Bar: The vast majority of the American people will not take kindly to Democrat, Adam Schiff refusing to allow, “The Whistle Blower & Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden” to testify to his committee to impeach POTUS, Trump and, Schiff himself should be forced to testify by committee vote!!! Anything less...will just further politically continue the internal destruction of the entire Democrat Party by the Democrats, themselves...period!!!
Democrats = no Money, no Supporters at rallies, no qualified 2020 POTUS candidates, all of them, deadbeats from A-Z, no Fairness for POTUS, Trump, no political agenda, a total “Do Nothing” politcal party. However they are great at hate, lies deceptions and closed meeting to both Media & the American Republic!!!
Yes, Pelsoi, you are doing a terrific job of failing, 100%..RESIGN...immediately...the American People no longer require your biased, hateful services!!!
Thanks for finding the article. It shows President is not a hypocrite.
Bttt
Moment of silence and the playing of “Taps” concludes the ceremony.
He kept his speech short...21 minutes. Keeping in mind he’s in a city whose leaders oppose him.(obvious with the protection shield around him)... Am glad he went there....but equally glad he’s leaving there and kept it short.
Did anyone boo them?
I didn’t hear any.....
I take this day very personally as at just four years old my Father and Uncle died while in Service to our country. So I know first hand what it is to grow up without a Father.....as others as myself do as well. The ‘price’ is no greater then when one lays down their life for their country and the freedoms we so often take for granted.... But I never forget, nor do those who have lost loved ones.
Yet amidst the sea of faces, there is one person among the thousands and thousands of attendees who... catches the presidents eye. President Trump doesnt know him or his story, but based on the hat he is wearing, our president knows he is a veteran... Instead of just... exiting the arena, the president stops. He straightens and then salutes instinctively. He mouths the words, thank you....I turn my head to see who the man is that the President... just saluted [] Staff Sgt. Roy Hodges, who flew 34 combat missions as a gunner on a B-24 Liberator over Europe in WWII and is now 95 years old. As I thank him for his service, he... tells me he has terminal cancer with only a few months to live. ...this moment... is one of the proudest of his life to have been saluted and thanked personally by the Commander in Chief himself. He tries to control his emotions but they are at the surface by now, as are mine.
President Trump, without even knowing it, gave this man, among the last of the greatest generation, a meaningful and memorable send-off into the sunset of his remarkable life of sacrifice and service. As we speak, I think of all the other brave men and women who put themselves in harms way all around the world on behalf of our nation, and have no doubt the president would salute them all if he could. He sees them, applauds them, admires them, and acknowledges their bravery and heroism.
If anyone is not proud of her as a representative of the USA, they are NOT a patriotic American.
I don't think he would have spoken any longer if he were treated fairly, as were his predecessors. And it was a great speech! So touched by the examples of valor he cited.
Our President is a very brave man. And our FLOTUS is also a very courageous woman. God bless them both, and all our brave American veterans.
There is a video in the following tweet of a makeover for a homeless vet. It is awesome.
Take a moment and digest this...
These patriots fought for our country, many lost life and limb and sacrificed so much as did their families.
Many are homeless and discarded, as liberals ignore them while coddling illegals.
Look at his face...tears
WE PLACE OUR VETS FIRST! https://t.co/sCcbrGN5Fu— ♦️GAYE GALLOPS♦️ (@gaye_gallops) November 11, 2019
On FBN today they were discussing how Trump had donated a “yuge” check 25 years ago to save the parade.
Oh, my! The screen got all blurry as I watched that! Thank you, dear Syncro!
YW
It’s amazing what can be done to redeem a life.
Sometimes it’s just something as simple as that to bring light and hope back into a forlorn veteran’s life.
Great great story
