He didn't have to put it back in the bag, all they needed to do was give him two minutes and he would have eaten the evidence....With that being said, they never gave him the chance to put the rest of the sandwich in the bag, they cuffed him.
Notice how their claim then escalated to him "resisting arrest" when the video never showed any such action?
As much as I hate to say it, you're just as ignorant as those dumbass cops were......

What does any of your story have to do with the video at hand? This was just a normal guy trying to get to work eating a breakfast sandwich.

Sure the guy was in the wrong but how far do you go here to enforce this law? Now, in all likelihood, this “law” was probably created by some bureacrat. Cops do have discretion. For something minor like this, the cop should have let it go. But they wasted time and resources and had to get 3 others to come and arrest him.
So what have these cops accomplished? Do you think that this guy will have any respect for authority now? Do you think most that see this on you tube will side with the cops?
If it’s about showing cops in a bad light, this cop certainly accomplished that.
How hard is it for the cops not to harass a guy just trying to get to work, posing no threat to anyone? Cops we’re just wasting time and money and harassing citizens

Only thing more to the story is that one cop blatantly lying on camera about the sandwich guy meeting the description of someone they were looking for. Completely contradicting the story of the 1st cop
If the guy took a leak on the platform they’d have ignored him.

What title is anti-cop? But there was nothing reasonable about anything the cops did in this video. They fully deserve to be disrespected. The second cop to show up was an outright liar. “You matched the description”. LMAO! That was the same cop I believe , that acted like a thug when he showed up yelling “Turn around” at the guy. And BART has already apologized for the incident proving that the cops were completely out of line.

Personally, I’m glad he got arrested. Perhaps if you act like a civilized human being, you won’t be arrested. Obviously, the video doesn’t tell the whole story.
