Dengue is bad news.
The whole family has had it at one time or another. Nobody died, thanks to God.

It is painful suffering for a week or more.

Great tourist venue!

My older brother got malaria while serving in the Navy.

I hate mosquitoes with a passion. They get no mercy from me.

Dengue can affect any age, any sex. It is a horrible disease. Effects from it don’t always appear with the presentation of the disease. A month after the fever and vomiting, etc., when the actual disease is not long present, the skin on hands and feet can peel off. Hair loss begins about month 3 and continues for another year. Depression, serious debillitating depression, develops and continues for a year and a half. There is a brain fog which accompanies the disease and it leaves a person vulnerable to other blood disorders such as malaria.

It is not a fun illness. I would wish it on my worst enemy if I really wanted them to die.

we have about 30 deaths from vaping with liquids that contain vit e additivies- and the media are hysterical in their zeal to ban vaping- but over 1000 deaths from dengue, which could be eradicated by usign DDT and the msm are like ‘meh- whatever’

Does 113% higher mean 13% higher than the 2018 cases or 213% as many as the 2018 cases.

If you’re worrying about mosquitoes then take B1 (Thiamine).
A 100 mg tablet (about $0.06 per tablet) is much more than you can metabolize in a 24 hour period, so your body excretes the excess in urine and sweat. The stuff that goes out as sweat repels mosquitoes.
