I believe there has been. I read a little on it, it’s mosquito borne, viral infection, with several different strains. If you get it and survive you’re immune to that strain for awhile but not the other strains very long. Viral diseases are a hard to treat. The vaccine working is pretty much limited to those who’ve had a strain of it and survived, from what I’ve read it seems like a Hillary of a disease. In its advanced stage it is referred to I think as dengue hemorrhagic stage. That’s as bad as I think it gets. It’s bad news.

One of my sons got it when he was in the Peace Corps in South America. He travelled from his country to Brazil and got it there.
