I believe there has been. I read a little on it, its mosquito borne, viral infection, with several different strains. If you get it and survive youre immune to that strain for awhile but not the other strains very long. Viral diseases are a hard to treat. The vaccine working is pretty much limited to those whove had a strain of it and survived, from what Ive read it seems like a Hillary of a disease. In its advanced stage it is referred to I think as dengue hemorrhagic stage. Thats as bad as I think it gets. Its bad news.
One of my sons got it when he was in the Peace Corps in South America. He travelled from his country to Brazil and got it there.
