LOL! Done some driving on the eastern side of NV on the way to Hwy 50 from Las Vegas. If you have a problem in some of those areas.....probably not gonna have a good outcome. No cell, probably limited CB contacts. But some surprising places that just seem to pop up.
You’re right. Some of those roads can be scary if there is a problem.
There are some pretty good YouTube videos that people have posted of remote roads.
We were driving through a god-awful stretch in southwest Texas and there were signs to beware of rattle snakes if you have a flat tire.
There are so many stories.
