Their script was written for them ahead of time. If the two guys on the stand would have been wearing MAGA hats as they testified it would have still been a “bombshell” for the Democrats on CNN and MSNBC.

The member of my staff could hear President Trump on the phone... This means that either:
- The staffer overheard the conversation coming from the phone in a restaurant.
- The ambassador took a phone call from the President on a speaker phone in a public restaurant.
#1 is bad enough; #2 is a dereliction of duty.
