Bill Clinton advised President Trump on Thursday to focus on his job amid impeachment proceedings, saying “you don’t get the days back you blow off.”
The former president called into CNN to weigh in on Trump and Congress working together on gun control legislation following the Santa Clarita shooting.
“What would your message to President Trump be when he says, ‘I can’t work with these people, they’re impeaching me?’” CNN anchor Jake Tapper asked.
“My message would be, ‘look, you got hired to do a job,’” Clinton said. “You don’t get the days back you blow off. Every day’s an opportunity to make something good happen. And I would say, ‘I’ve got lawyers and staff people handling this impeachment inquiry, and they should just have at it. Meanwhile, I’m going to work for the American people'”

Bill Clinton was the brilliant politician- hilLIARy was the evil force behind him.
Without her he would have just been a criminal rapist. With her he was a criminal rapist with a lust for power.
Also consider how much time he would’ve had away from Hillary? There are so many demands on the President’s time... Billy boy would’ve been able to run relatively free and unsupervised - the the SS escorts. The SS seemed fairly adept and keeping mum about his previous indiscretions...
I firmly believe Bill Clinton’s election effort for hilLIARy was halfhearted at best.
He would have been no use to her at all, if she won.
And he was a potential huge liability, if there was any more bimbo eruptions.
He would have been sent to Ft. Marcy Park.
Basically he is saying Trump has mole attorneys/staff and to not get rid of them. Focus on other things instead of making sure you have the right attorneys and staff.
The only advice Bill Clinton can offer that’s of any value is which condoms are most reliable.
I don’t know. Looking back I would say Clinton was right about getting the FBI files on the executive staff. Clinton was also right about firing the FBI director on day one. Clinton was right about firing all the Federal prosecutors. Clinton knew that the state department was filled with snakes. I think future Presidents would do well to head his advice minus the intern fraternization.
