Trust me, Bill Clinton was the happiest man in America the night Trump beat Hillary. You know he didn’t want her to win, and have to play “second fiddle” to her, also he’d have to be on his best behavior.
Bill’s first thought was, “Now I can start dating again.”

The difference is that the GOP had Bubba’s back, they refused to hold a full trial, somehow, I doubt Trump gets the same consideration.
Also consider how much time he would’ve had away from Hillary? There are so many demands on the President’s time... Billy boy would’ve been able to run relatively free and unsupervised - the the SS escorts. The SS seemed fairly adept and keeping mum about his previous indiscretions...

It might be pathetic, but I think Bill Clinton is far less of an ideologue than his wife. Whether it was his southern upbringing or personality, he seemed to desire to be liked and to enjoy himself as opposed to driving a radical left agenda.
Now does play fast and loose with laws and what he can get away with, but I think as a politician he probably has some respect for Trump. Bill Clinton, like Trump, understood using media to appeal to people (e.g. Arsenio Hall appearance, MTV interview).
I think the previous posters were right in that Bill was probably very happy to have Hillary lose.
Just think if the Brits had not covered up his first (known) rape - the world could have been spared all this.

LOL! My theory was that Bill sat back and watched all the stupid moves the beest campaign made and kept silent after he tried to intervene and had to dodge an airborne ashtray!
But BJ sure has good memories of those days.
